An Afternoon with Ally Gordon

Thursday 10th March 2011, 12.00 noon – 1.00 pm, (location to be confirmed).

A unique opportunity to hear the story of Ally's experience in the art world; what it is like to be a professional artist in London, why he paints what he does and how he makes a living out of it.
Alastair Gordon is a London based artist who works in oil on canvas and drawing. He is interested in the forgotten landscapes from the outposts of society and abandoned urban spaces and will be one of our judges for the “hope” art competition.

Alastair graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2002 and is currently studying towards a masters qualification at Wimbledon School of Art, London. He was artist-in-residence from the Dundonald Trust in 2009.
